Keeping pets, whether large or small, poses a variety of challenges and problems. A few of the most common problems are unpleasant odours, infections, allergies (both in people and animals) and skin or coat problems.

Many of these problems are caused by micro-organisms or ‘microbes’. For decades, we have all been using products to kill bacteria, such as antiseptics and disinfectants, thinking that this would take care of the problem.
